It was thought advantageous to locate a moulding unit under the same roof as the tool room. This has given us a unique strategic advantage in terms of conducting tool trials and establishing process parameters.
We have a worldclass plastic injection moulding facility.
The moulding shop has 25 microprocessor controlled injection moulding machine and a sophisticated painting shop.
We have a wide range of moulding machine for 50T to 1600T. The moulding shop specializes in gas assisted injection moulding. Four of our large moulding machines are supplied with Battenfeld gas assisted injection moulding compressor and control.
The moulding shop has an excellent infrastructure. Each bay is provided with a suitable EOT crane for easy loading and unloading of tools.
The moulding shop gets clean and stable power from the 2 MW captive generating station. This has an additional standby capacity of 500 KVA. This ensures clean, stable, reliable power for optimum utilization of injection moulding machines.
Most of the injection machines are fitted with pick and place robot for unloading of plastic parts to help us reduce cycle time.
The mould shop is also equipped with centralized raw material distribution system for conveying and blending raw material.
We have implemented kanban system in the moulding shop for select customers to provide just in time supplies.
The moulding shop has its own tool maintenance facility with well-trained team of engineers and technicians who look after the preventive and breakdown maintenance of tools, independently.
We have young and enthusiastic team at the moulding shop.
Presently the moulding sections caters 90% of its load from outside customers., mainly from Automotive sector
